| A style based on the Victorian painting "The Accolade" by Edmund Blair Leighton. The gown featured in the painting is a Victorian fantasy medieval style derived from a misinterpretation of an actual 12th century dress style where a bodice or wide belt was used to fit a loose fitting gown to the figure.
However, this style has a fitted bodice with the attached
skirt gathered in to the "V" fronted waist line. This style can be
made with a wide range of different sleeve types, belts and arm bands or
even ribbon lacing at the forearms. This style laces at the back. | Accolade designed for Joanne.
